Burnby Hall Gardens

Bespoke timber building

£230,000

Design + bespoke build, easily accessible lakeside structure sympathetic to surroundings. MLC engineered a steel portal frame in a timber clad building crafted to imitate lilies’ rhizome shoots. Traditional lime mortar cemented each handmade brick into place adding a contemporary feel to the adjacent Edwardian manor house. Land and sky illusion sedum green roof (aerofoil-edged) complimented a garden ‘lilypad effect’ and naturally MLC carpenters used oak for doors and windows where appropriate.
