The project entailed the design & build construction of a steel portal framed showroom and supporting structure for a two storey apartment development above. The new building replaced the old showroom which had previously been used as a car showroom. The project remit was to provide an update retail development to the ground floor affording greater storage for “off cut remnants” and floor space for bed’s whilst providing further revenue from the six rental apartments above. The new building sat directly over the footprint of the existing showroom and also provided off street parking for the residents.
