On Saturday 2nd November, Roxy Tuohy (Shipley) & our Financial Director Emma Hargreaves, alongside their fellow trustees of the Three Bears Foundation, hosted 370 wonderful guests at York Racecourse, to raise funds to support the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
They are funding a pioneering three-year research project alongside York St. John University, that will investigate the molecular biology of pancreatic cancer and the ways to improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy. They raised an incredible £24,771.66, meaning not only can they cover this year’s funding, they can also donate what is left to other local charities!
Emma wants to express her heartfelt gratitude to those that attended, donated and supported this incredible event. It really was the most magical evening! They can’t wait for next year, already!
